A growing specialty contractor is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Flooring Estimator to join its team. This position plays a key role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing costs, and supporting the successful acquisition of commercial projects throughout the region.
The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing construction documents, preparing bids, and working with project stakeholders to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
Responsibilities
+ Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
+ Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates
+ Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
+ Develop and submit competitive bid proposals
+ Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
+ Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities
