The position provides estimating services for various types of projects and contract formats, producing detailed estimates at various phases of design and construction. Other responsibilities include: Performs material and equipment takeoffs, obtains vendor pricing, assigns labor factors based on established labor estimating manuals, consolidates labor and material estimates into a summary proposal, creates project milestone schedules; reads and interprets client-supplied bid documents, provides technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, etc., coordinates total estimating effort relevant to a particular bid or project, maintains files or working documents as back-up for e...
