Job Description
Education Diploma / degree in engineering – preferably Electrical
A medium sized construction company with offices in Johannesburg are looking for an Estimations Engineer – Renewable Energy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in construction, preferably with both Client and Contractor.
- Experience working on renewable energy projects essential.
- Proven knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, O&M buildings and substations related to renewable energy facilities.
- Must have a completed diploma / degree in engineering – preferably Electrical.
- Understanding of FIDIC suite of contracts and bespoke Sub-EPC contract forms.
- Understanding of EPC and Sub-EPC contract execution and associated risks.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar.
- Knowledge of SANS 1200, 10142 and other standards related to renewable energy facilities.
