Position Overview
We are seeking an environmental inspector to serve as an expert and authority in environmental protection. The area of responsibility includes the city of Tornio and the municipality of Keminmaa.
Responsibilities
Environmental protection involves monitoring and supervising activities affecting the environment, advising residents, and handling permits and notifications.
Qualifications
- Suitable higher education degree
- Good familiarity with environmental protection
- Previous work experience in municipal environmental protection tasks considered an advantage
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and customer-oriented approach
- Good written Finnish skills, computer literacy
- Driving license and ability to use a personal vehicle
