Job Description
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for promoting continuous improvement by the full implementation and support of the MTI EHS process for the Normerica Brantford plant. This role may also provide health, safety and environmental compliance oversight and support for MTI through assisting with EHS activities at other sites requiring support.
Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish the safety standards for the Brantford plant consistent with or exceeding MTI, Ontario OSHA (Canadian Provincial requirements), and other local standard
- Ensure a high level of compliance within all provincial, regional, and local standards, such as the Ministry of Environment (MOE) and the City of Brantford, as well as ensuring environmental compliance within all global environmental regulation
