Job Title: Quality Control Mechanical EngineerJob Description
This role focuses on ensuring the quality and accuracy of mechanical systems by reviewing and inspecting construction and fabrication drawings within a fabrication shop environment. The Quality Control Mechanical Engineer works closely with the fabrication team to verify that HVAC and plumbing systems are fabricated, built, and assembled in accordance with design specifications for a variety of building projects, including healthcare, education, data centers, and large commercial facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Work in the mechanical contractorβs fabrication shop to review shop drawings and verify that HVAC and plumbing systems are fabricated, built, and assembled correctly according to construction and fabrication drawings.
+ Inspect mechanical and plumbing systems in the fabrication shop before they are shipped to job sites, confirming that installations meet design and quality standards.
