Summary You will serve as an ENIGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will develop process improvement that improve reliability, safety, workflow, cost, and schedule performance. You will work independently, or act as lead for a team of engineering technicians and engineers. You will observe execution of nuclear work and provide on-site technical support. You will prepare quality and detailed written technical direction to accomplish nuclear work from cradle to grave. You will evaluate critical attributes of assigned nuclear work and perform risk assessments. You will contact planning yards, prime contractors, or other technical authorities and proposed alternative methods of solutions, if requirements cannot be met.
