Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test amplifier, pedal, and accessory products to ensure they meet marketing and engineering requirements.
- Design and build test fixtures as necessary for reliability testing.
- Host and participate in design reviews for all R&D projects.
- Work closely with other mechanical engineers, industrial designers, drafters, electrical engineers, project management, product management, purchasing, manufacturing engineers, and OEM engineers.
- Attend evening meetings with overseas OEM factories.
- Evaluate first article samples.
- Perform tolerance analysis on critical product features.
- Mechanical Engineering degree with 3-5 years of product development experience.
- Strong SolidWorks skills, including surfacing and sheet metal experience.
- Strong knowledge of FEA tools; SolidWorks Simulation preferred.
