Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an enthusiastic student for an Engineering Intern position in our Centurion office.

The ideal candidate must be based in South Africa for this position. Applicants who recently graduated or are pursuing a final year in electrical power systems or power engineering are preferred.

Typical Day

• Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers
• Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL processes and technologies
• Perform testing on new and existing technology
• Document and communicate test results

Who We are Looking For

• You are a fresh graduate or current final year student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Power Engineering
• You have the ability to work full time
• You have an interest in electrical power systems protection and control
• Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers
