Job Description
Burnside Group of Companies is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Engineering Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to join our Water & Wastewater Infrastructure team. As part of our team, you’ll help assess, plan, study, design, obtain approvals, and administer construction of municipal, Indigenous, and private sector water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
This position is based out of our Orangeville (preferred) or Guelph office. Occasional travel to other offices and client sites is required.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in assessing, planning, and design of water supply, treatment, pumping, storage, distribution, and wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, and disposal projects.
- Support senior engineers and project managers in producing preliminary and detailed design drawings, preparing related reports, coordinating approvals, developing construction cost estimates, and liaising with clients, sub‑cons...
