About the role
The Engineering Developer Services team (EDS) is responsible for the support and development of tools used by AEMO and market participant power system engineers to model the electricity network, analyse planned outages, analyse faults, and plan for the future network. The EDS team operates at the intersection of power systems engineering, software development, data, and advanced analytics, delivering be-spoke tools that influence the national energy strategy and operational decision making. This is an opportunity to work on cutting‑edge, high‑tech systems that help shape the transition to a secure, reliable, and sustainable electricity market supporting decarbonisation goals while maintaining system strength and resilience.
