We are actively seeking a Third-Class Engineer Officer to carry out operations and mechanical maintenance on the tugs at the Port of Goderich in Ontario.

  • Maintain main engine and auxiliary equipment.
  • Operate electrical, mechanical and hydraulic control systems and offshore refuelling equipment.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
  • Keep track of preventive maintenance system tasks.
  • Ensure application of the safety management system.
  • Monitor main engine operation (pressure, temperature, oil levels) and report any anomalies.
