Job DescriptionJob descriptionLead and manage the technical and commercial delivery of electrical design packages across rail infrastructure projects with a focus on high voltage (HV) substation, traction power and LV design.Develop concept and detailed designs, key elements of design deliverables including technical reports, electrical calculations and design specificationsReview CAD drawings and ensure thorough documentation of all design work.Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers and CAD technicians.Act as Lead Engineer/CRE, Checker on projects, ensuring all outputs are delivered on time, to budget and to client expectations.Ensure accuracy in drawings and calculations, designs comply with all relevant regulations, including CDM and Health & Safety legislationProvide technical and commercial oversight, including design planning, risk management and quality assurancePlay a key role in developing our HV substation and LV design capability as part of the Electrification & Pow...
