Job Description
Interim Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance
Mission: Develop mechanical expertise to perform high‑skill work for the manufacturing facility in Cartagena, strengthening focus on mechanical integrity and ensuring compliance to safety critical equipment/system maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical maintenance to rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, blowers, extruders, etc.) and mechanical seals.
- Deliver first‑line troubleshooting for maintenance, leading multidisciplinary problem‑solving, complex scoping, work instruction approval, and applying best practices in the mechanical shop; ensure timely involvement of internal and external specialists.
- Support the Maintenance team daily and participate in Run & Maintain Teams, enabling effective maintenance at minimum cost by optimizing technical solutions.
