**Job Description**
The Engineer II, System Safety will apply engineering and management principles, criteria, and techniques to optimize all aspects of safety within the constraints of operational effectiveness, time, and cost throughout all phases of a system s life cycle. Due to the level of this position, the following tasks will be performed with guidance from more senior System Safety Engineers.
The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.

+ System Safety Engineering and development of MIL-STD-882 compliant system safety program plans to provide engineering teams with application of safety programs, policies and guidance.
