Job Description
Overview: We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Engineer/Specialist to lead the site’s Environmental program through people engagement, ownership of programs, and influence.
Provides technical expertise, proactive actions, regulatory compliance, and consultation on program/policy execution.
Acts as a coach and mentor to all site personnel in effective environmental processes and principles.
Responsibilities: Leads Environmental Management System and environmental programs and initiatives Champions issue resolutions and environmental improvement efforts.
Maintains site compliance to local, provincial and federal environmental regulations and keep up-to-date knowledge of evolving legislation Interfaces with regulatory agencies to ensure permits, licenses, reporting, and responses are accurate and completed appropriately.
