Job Description
Cameco is looking for an engineering professional to join the Key Lake technical team in supporting surface operations in a mining/milling environment. You will be responsible for maintaining all electrical and instrumentation equipment on site, assisting in safe and reliable production.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment and failures.
- Maximize equipment availability, reliability and performance through effective problem solving and proactive maintenance practices.
- Develop and refine asset‑specific strategies to improve equipment health and to prevent or eliminate equipment failure.
- Engage in planning, coordination, and execution of electrical refurbishment work at site.
- Support site capital and expense projects ensuring project deliverables are met in terms of scope, schedule and budget.
