Overview
As an Intermediate Engineer of our Telecom Engineering team, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of BC Hydro’s telecommunications network. You will work on high-performance transport systems and critical connectivity solutions that support utility operations, SCADA, grid protection, and cybersecurity across the province.
What you will be doing
- Support the design of telecom networks and circuits, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security needed to support real-time grid operations and future utility technologies.
- Support in drawings, material ordering, material management for the construction of telecom infrastructure including microwave radio links, fiber optic networks, WiMAX radio network, satellite communications, power line carrier links, LTE, leased facilities, IP/MPLS networks, digi...
