Meta’s Global Energy Team is seeking a commercially-experienced and technically-grounded energy professional to help develop and structure behind-the-meter (BTM) onsite generation solutions that accelerate data center capacity deployment.The Energy Manager (Onsite Generation Solutions) will own the origination and commercial development of onsite generation deals: building relationships with independent power producers and generation equipment manufacturers, validating that generation technologies meet the company’s requirements, confirming the supporting fundamentals are in place (gas supply, land, water, and permitting), and structuring and executing commercial agreements — including power purchase agreements (PPAs) — that deliver reliable, cost-competitive power outside traditional grid interconnection timelines.
