Job Summary
The Endoscopy Technician supports the endoscopy team in delivering safe, high-quality patient care in compliance with Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi standards. The role includes assisting in procedures, handling specialized equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare endoscopy suites in accordance with DOH infection control and safety standards.
- Assist physicians during procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic/therapeutic interventions.
- Perform pre-cleaning, high-level disinfection (HLD), and sterilization of endoscopes as per DOH and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of endoscopes using traceability systems.
