The **Emerging General Manager (EGM)** role is a developmental leadership position designed to prepare high-potential leaders for future **General Manager** opportunities within Walmart Supply Chain. This role provides immersive experience leading complex operations, developing enterprise-wide business acumen, strengthening leadership capabilities, and driving operational excellence across a large-scale distribution or fulfillment environment. The Emerging General Manager partners closely with General Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business results, develop talent, execute Walmart Performance System (WPS) initiatives, and lead continuous improvement efforts while building the skills necessary to successfully transition into a General Manager role.
