Job Summary
We are seeking a Physician (FP/ER) to provide Emergency Room coverage at Dawson Creek and District Hospital in Dawson Creek, BC. The Emergency Room sees over 22,000 visits per year and is presently covered by Family Physicians in the community.
Role and Facility Information
As an Emergency Room Physician, you will deliver acute care services to patients arriving by walk‑in, ambulance, or referral. You will work 16 to 18 shifts per month (7‑hr and 10‑hr shifts), participate in on‑call duties, and adhere to MOCAP Level 1 requirements.
Qualifications, Education and Skills
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Mandatory
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – Mandatory
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) license – Provisional or Full
