Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) support provider in the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM). Provides appropriate on scene life support and operates ambulance. Responsibilities Conducts a complete examination of the patient to determine the nature, extent, and seriousness of the condition and searches for medical alert symbols. Determines treatment priorities for multi-injury patients and utilizes appropriate emergency medical equipment and techniques during transport to a medical facility. Navigates emergency vehicles using the most direct and efficient routes based on current traffic conditions and hospital locations.
