Patient Access Representative
Position Summary
The Patient Access Representative is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a warm, welcoming, and professional experience while supporting patient registration, insurance verification, and administrative processes. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Team members may support Emergency Department, Outpatient/Clinic, and Main Admitting/Inpatient areas based on operational needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency Department (ED)
+ Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and visitors in a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency care environment.
+ Register patients arriving through the Front Triage Desk, Ambulance Bay, or at the bedside.
+ Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information with a high degree of accuracy.
