Basic Qualifications

Five (5) years successful teaching experience Teaching experience of two (2) divisions and/or specialized areas within school system Certificate of Qualification and Registration in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) Master of Education or equivalent (preferred) Special Education, Part 1 (preferred) Addressing Anti-Black Racism to Change Pedagogy and Practice, Part 1 or equivalent (preferred) Completed Principal’s qualifications according to Regulation 298: Section 9 (Principal’s Certificate Part I and Part II or equivalent) prior to beginning assignment Completed O.C.S.T.A./O.E.C.T.A. Religious Education course, Part 2 with a commitment to complete Specialist or equivalency (i.e., Master of Religious Education) Completed Modules I & II of the Board’s current Catholic Leadership Program or equivalent Committed to, or completion of, the Board’s Equity and Inclusion Training, Part 1 (or equivalent), with a commitment to comp...
