JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Electrophysiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Mishawaka, IN Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical only Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: 50% Adult, 50% Geriatric Average Daily Volume: 5 IP, 15-20 OP Case Mix: Electrophysiology (ablations, ICD, pacemaker, cardioversions, TEEs) % Outpatient vs Inpatient: 60/40 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 2 weeks REQUIRED PROCEDURES Ablations, ICD, Pacemaker, Cardioversions, TEEs JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Cardiology Licenses: Active IN license, IMLC or eligibility to apply Experience: Minimum 5 years postresidency Others: Completed fellowship in Cardiology/EP Duties & Responsibilities Perform EP procedures including ablations, ICD implantations, pacemaker insertions, cardioversions, and TEEs...
