Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain DoD Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Electronics Technician specializing in electronic and electrical systems and components at a large area office with support also provided to other field sites throughout the Detroit District. Responsibilities Installs, repairs, tests, troubleshoots, maintains, and overhauls, a variety of complex electronicequipment. Determines methods and techniques required to accomplish tasks and solve moderately complex electronic circuitry problems. Conducts acceptance and performance tests on newly installed and existing systems and components. Conducts periodic inspections of operational systems and components to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
