The Texas A&M University Cyclotron Institute is looking to hire a new Electronics Technician II. The Electronics Technician II will install, operate and repair a variety of electronic equipment used for research, instructional, or plant operation activities.
Opportunities to Contribute:
Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits using necessary equipment.
Repair mechanical and electrical equipment as required.
Perform preventative maintenance as necessary and instruct students on the proper use of equipment.
Help design and fabricate electronic equipment.
Document, repair and design electronics systems using AutoCAD and/or pCad as required.
Establish and overseestandard operating procedures.
Perform research tasks.
