Job Description
Electrical Troubleshooting
Preventive Maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical failures on production equipment
- Diagnose issues with 480V through 13.8kV electrical systems
- Repair motors, motor controls, starters, contactors, relays, and transformers
- Troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Diagnose phase loss, voltage imbalance, ground faults, short circuits, and relay failures
- Troubleshoot furnace electrical systems, burner controls, ignition systems, and temperature controls
- Service servo motors, encoders, and positioning systems used throughout production
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled electrical PMs throughout the facility
- Inspect electrical panels, switchgear, MCCs, relays, and contactors
- Conduct predictive maintenance using thermal imaging to identify issues before failures occur
