Amentum is looking for an Electrical Systems Operator to join our team!
**Essential Responsibilities:** The Electrical Systems Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical systems, focusing on reliability and compliance with safety standards. Primary duties include:
+ System Monitoring & Operation:
+ Operate and monitor the performance of electrical distribution systems, including substations, transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
+ Monitor and control electrical systems for major facilities using Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) or similar systems.
+ Manage power generation equipment to ensure a continuous and efficient power supply.
+ Preventative Maintenance & Inspections:
+ Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues in electrical components and systems.
