Valard Construction seeks Journeyman Electricians to enhance substation infrastructure across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Engage in high voltage construction while ensuring project excellence and safety.
This key role in our Substations group demands experienced Electricians who will oversee and execute installations of medium and high voltage systems. Your skills will be vital in reinforcing the inter-provincial power grid and fostering renewable energy progress. This position features field work with a set schedule of 5 on, 2 off.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and oversee installation of power distribution systems
• Perform installation and commissioning of transformers and switchgear
• Manage inventory and material deliveries efficiently
• Interpret electrical blueprints for accurate planning
• Collaborate with safety teams on site

• Minimum 4 years in construction roles
