Job Description
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on LV/MV electric motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and rotating equipment across the QAFCO fertilizer plant
- Carry out motor rewinding, insulation resistance testing (IR/PI tests), vibration analysis, and shaft alignment checks; interpret results and initiate corrective actions
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, MCC panels, motor starters, and VFDs; coordinate with the control room and process teams during equipment isolation and reinstatement
- Work under the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and strictly follow LOTO procedures during all maintenance activities
