Job Description
Education: Completed diploma / degree in Engineering / Management.
A medium sized construction company with offices in Johannesburg is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years technical experience and proven ability to develop professional tenders in electrical and instrumentation (E&I) projects.
- Completed diploma / degree in Engineering / Management.
- Must have good construction and engineering contractual knowledge.
- Must be computer literate, specifically with MS Office Suite and CCS (Candy).
Responsibilities
- Prepare Electrical and Instrumentation estimates as directed.
- Carefully study tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Scrutinise the overall accuracy of the materials take‑off, bills of quantities and specifications issued by the engineering department.
