Overview

This full‑time, on‑site Electrical Estimator role is based in Dunedin and is part of the McArthur & Symons Electrical team, a locally owned and operated electrical company. The position is designed for a NewZealand registered electrician who wants to transition from hands‑on work to management, while still providing on‑site assistance and apprentice training as required.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform electrical duties including installation, maintenance, fault‑finding and compliance work.
• Organise scheduling with clients to provide pragmatic solutions and prepare estimates and quotes.
• Manage client liaison regarding pricing, identify variances and produce professional electrical documentation and reports.
• Coordinate all job‑related logistics and procurement.
