Lumentum is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer/FPGA Designer to join our cutting‑edge development team in Ottawa. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing FPGA‑based systems and electrical circuits for our advanced optical metrology sensor.

Key Responsibilities

• FPGA Design: Design and implement FPGAs using VHDL/Verilog for high‑speed data processing, control, and communication applications.
• FPGA Verification: Verify FPGAs using SystemVerilog and the latest object‑oriented methodologies to create a flexible environment to achieve high test coverage metrics.
• Circuit Design: Develop and optimize electrical circuits for photonics systems, including analog, digital, and mixed‑signal designs.
