ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
LOCATION: CEDAR RAPIDS, IA
SALARY: $75,000-$90,000/YEAR
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC manufacturing equipment
+ Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs (bill of materials)
+ Use tools like AutoCAD Electrical for layouts and documentation
+ Select and size electrical components (motors, controls, wiring, etc.)
+ Test and validate designs (DVP&R, troubleshooting, debugging)
+ Work with PLC systems and automation controls (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
+ Ensure compliance with codes (UL, CSA, NEC, IEC safety standards)
+ Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams
