Elections Alberta is hiring for the 2026 Provincial Referendum with positions available from October 13 to 21. All roles involve assisting with the electoral process, promoting fair voting, and providing essential services on Election Day. Candidates must be at least 16 or 18 years old, depending on the position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise staff and activities at voting locations
• Assist electors in finding their voting areas
• Answer questions and aid voters throughout the process
• Register new electors using the Declaration of Elector
• Work in teams to maintain voting records
Requirements:
• Resident of the electoral division is preferred
• Effective communication and public relations skills
• Map reading and conflict resolution abilities
