This is a temporary contract position of 12 months.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an EHS&T Claims Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing workplace injury or illness claims from start to finish. Reporting to the Regional EHS&T Manager, responsibilities for this position include managing workplace injury claims:
- Collaborate with Claims Management vendor on existing claims.
- Monitor WCB/WSIB claim timelines, follow up on outstanding documentation, and document all claim-related communications and updates.
- Ensure all required paperwork and documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
- Liaise with employees, supervisors, WCB/WSIB representatives, insurers, and healthcare providers to facilitate claim processing, recovery, and return-to-work.
