Join us as an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operator
Function: Supply Chain
Reports to: Site SHE Lead
Scope: Local
Location: Ghana, Tema
Terms & Conditions: Full time
JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient treatment of industrial wastewater to meet Ghana EPA discharge standards and Unilever sustainability goals. You will operate, monitor, and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant to protect the environment, people, and our brands while enabling responsible manufacturing in Tema.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Operate & Monitor: Run ETP machinery, pumps, blowers, clarifiers, and chemical dosing systems as per SOP to treat industrial wastewater.
+ Process Control: Maintain optimal pH, DO, MLSS, COD/BOD levels through regular testing and adjustment of chemicals.
+ Log Records: Keep daily logs for flow rate, chemical consumption, sludge level, lab result...
