Job Description
Support student learning at Senpaq'cin Elementary School as a dedicated Educational Assistant. Ideal candidates will have qualifications in Behavioral Intervention and a passion for helping children reach their potential.
The Osoyoos Indian Band is seeking a certified Educational Assistant to join the team at Senpaq'cin Elementary. This role requires collaboration with classroom teachers and student support services to facilitate individualized learning goals for students with exceptionalities. Candidates should show a commitment to professional conduct and respect the confidentiality of student information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in implementing IEPs and learning activities
• Supervise students during recess and lunch breaks
• Employ adapted strategies for diverse learning needs
• Document and monitor student progress and strategies
• Collaborate with the support team on student needs
Requirements:
• Valid BC Driver License (Class 5) or N
