Join our fast-paced Edmonton team as an Assistant Controller responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and timely reporting. This in-office full-time role focuses on accounting operations and strategic decision-making support.
This is an excellent opportunity for a meticulous accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. Reporting to the CFO, you'll prepare financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and manage account reconciliations. Your role will also encompass supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts while ensuring compliance with ASPE and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support GST returns and vendor invoice processing
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for business needs
