Early Childhood Acting/Assistant Director

Little Explorers Daycare Center is seeking a highly motivated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director supports the Director in the daily operations of the early learning program, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality educational environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage child scheduling and attendance records.
• Prepare childcare invoices using the Sage application.
• Maintain staff and children's records.
• Prepare staff schedules.
• Prepare and submit payroll timesheets before each payroll deadline.
• Collect receipts for purchases and invoices for entry into Sage.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of children's activities and assist with program planning as needed.
• Supervise and support children as required.
• Prepare meals when the cook is unavailable.
