Job Description

The Duty Engineer is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all hotel engineering systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building services. The role supports the Engineering team in maintaining guest comfort, safety, and operational reliability while ensuring compliance with hotel standards and preventive maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain all engineering systems and equipment across the hotel.
  • Ensure smooth operation of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, water supply, kitchen equipment, and other hotel facilities.
  • Respond promptly to engineering breakdowns, guest complaints, and operational requests.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and plant rooms.
