Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
The Duty Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within the hotel. This role requires a hands‑on approach to troubleshooting technical issues, supervising the engineering team during shifts, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Maintenance Duties
- Monitor and oversee the daily operation of all MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to engineering requests from guests and other departments ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
