Job Function
For major and/or complex transformer, switching, frequency changer and condenser stations projects, and the switchyard features associated with generating stations, develop and provide technical oversight for structural designs, ensuring alignment with applicable standards, to achieve the concepts, layouts and requirements as specified for the project, exercising sound engineering judgment. Collaborate with all stakeholders in the various phases leading to final design, ensure coordination of various features to avoid design conflicts and support overall design integrity, provide technical guidance and supervise assisting staff as required. Examine contracts and equipment tenders to ensure they meet the intent of the structural design.
