Job Description
One Touch Contracting Ltd is looking to hire a Drywall Installer to join its team as soon as possible.
Job Duties
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Use a trowel and broad knife to fill holes, joints, cracks, and nail indentations with joint compound
- Allow the coat to dry and smooth out excessive compound
- Sand seams and joints, and apply successive coats of compound
- Fabricate and install metal ceiling grids, placing in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Job Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- At least 1 year to less than 2 years of work experience in the trade
