Key Responsibilities
The role requires a clean driving record and a strong sense of responsibility for the safe and timely delivery of items. The ideal candidate must be careful, diligent, and able to plan efficient routes using navigation technology, with good knowledge of local and interstate roads.
Key duties include:
- Assist in loading and unloading items for delivery
- Deliver ready-to-eat meals and place them into assigned lockers
- Carry out catering deliveries, including setting up food and buffet tables when required
- Take delivery instructions from supervisors and follow them accurately
- Maintain proper knowledge of loaded items
- Ensure all necessary and complete documentation is available during loading and delivery
- Drive using the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
