7.5T Driver Labourers - Mid and East Antrim Borough Council - Larne Join the operational services team at Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. Based in Larne, this role involves driving and operating a variety of council vehicles, including those used for refuse collection, recycling, street cleansing, and other essential services. About the role:
  • £14.13 per hour
  • Monday - Friday 
  • 37 hour a week 
  • Duration: 3 months with a possible extension
  • 2 positions available 
    • Duties:
  • Carry out pre-use and routine checks before driving any vehicle, completing and returning a vehicle pre-use check report to the postholder’s line managers as instructed.
  • Drive allocated vehicle in accordance with appropriate licence as directed and be responsible for the vehicle including the use of analogue/digital Tachograph in compliance with the Road Traffic Regulations (Northern Ireland)...
