As a critical part of the Island Gold team, you will be responsible for designing drilling and blasting packages for underground operations. This role requires a Mine Technician Diploma and at least 5 years of underground mining experience, with skills in drillhole gyro surveys and CAD design. Your input will help shape mine plans and supports corporate objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize stope design sessions across departments
• Provide input on production forecasts and mine plans
• Track KPIs and improve drilling performance
• Conduct routine drills and inspections in underground areas
