Job Description
Qualifications
- Matric/ Grade 12 certificate
- NQF 4 learning/ mathematics and technical drawing
- Knowledge of steel types/ materials and application
- Be able to read and interpret drawings
- Must be able to distinguish between forgings, castings, plate etc.
- Experience in 3D Modelling, Solid Works
- Min 1-3 years working experience
- Must have Solid Works experience and machining tolerances knowledge
- Knowledge with PDM is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Ensure drawings are of the highest quality, continuous improvement and high performance
- Design Work
- 3D Model creation & modification
- Detail design, skeleton creation
- Drafting
- Produce precise drawings of CAD parts for production
- Produce drawings of CAD assemblies for fabrication
